He was employed at Johnson Controls in 1983 and given the corporate officer position in 2004. He further held positions with very many responsibilities within the business. Molinaroli became the head of the Power Solutions business from 2007 to 2013. He was the chairman and CEO of Johnson Controls before his retirement.
