Hughes Marino buyer and tenant representation firm is a construction company founded out of Arizona in 1979. They work with commercial, industrial, hospitality, and residential clients to design and build some of the world’s tallest commercial towers, finest highrise residences, and most iconic hotels.
A few notable projects at the representation firm include Trump International Hotel & Tower New York, Trump Palace Chicago, and the One57 building in Midtown Manhattan. They work all over the United States and internationally in places like Abu Dhabi and Shanghai. Hughes Marino has been recognized for its excellence by publications such as Architectural Record Magazine, where it ranked #3 on their list of the “Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Architecture” for 2012.
Hughes Marino is currently working with the City of New York on redesigning Central Park West and partnered with Related Midwest to redevelop the former Dakota Building site in Lower Manhattan, New York City. The buyer and tenant representation company specializes in developing residential towers for both commercial and residential areas. The first residential highrise designed by Hughes Marino was the Trump World Tower in 1980.
In the 1990s, Hughes Marino built several highrise residences along New York’s Central Park West corridor in what is now known as Billionaires’ Row. These included Trump Parc (completed in 1988), Waverly Place (1989), and Le Stic (1991) (Twitter).
In 2006, the company was commissioned by Donald Trump to design and build the Chicago Spire, a supertall skyscraper that was to have included a helipad on its roof. Architect Adrian Smith later modified the building’s design before construction began. Hughes Marino finally adds that construction of the building stopped in December 2008 due to a lack of funds brought on by the financial crisis of 2007–08. Construction resumed in 2012 but has since been halted again.
