A while ago Arena media Group, formally known as Maven announced several changes at the company. The company started by revealing a complete shift of focus in the company operations. To effect these changes even better and profit from these radical changes, the company handed over its top leadership reins to a new leader. This change meant that Mr. Heckman, who served as the Sports Illustrated CEO since its inception ceased being the company’s leader. Consequentially, his place at the company was taken by Ross Levinsohn a new CEO. However, this move did not mean that Mr. Heckman would end his association with the company.
He was going to stay around a little bit longer and help oversee the great transformation going on at the company. The experience and capability of Mr. Ross Levinsohn are what contributed to the company’s consideration of him as the head of the company sports Illustrated CEO. At the time of his appointment, it was expected that Mr. Ross would help this company soar to greater heights owing to his extensive experience in the business. Sure enough, after his appointment, Mr. Ross has proven his suitability for this position and is now showing good returns to the company despite having been at the helm of the company for a short period only.
Upon his appointment as the new Sports Illustrated CEO, Ross Levinsohn introduced some changes at the company, many of which were never seen before. Even though a good number of these changes were widely debated within the company and out of it, Ross insisted that he was not seeking to use them to change the company direction and to focus on other things. These changes have since paid off and even though the Arena Media group is not yet where the company needs to be, there are visible indications that it is headed in the right direction with great fortunes to come later on.
